Here are the minutes from the September FOAM meeting:
Officer nominations are upon us and the time is now to nominate your 2024 Officers. Please nominate members, or yourself, to lead the club into the next year.
In regards, Travis Kirby is vacating the position of Treasurer. To which, Valerie Grogan nominates Tim McKracken to Treasurer. As such, Tim McKracken nominates this officer to Events. Therefore, the officer position of Communications remains open. But you can still nominate for President, Treasurer, Events, Competitions, Membership, Webmaster, and Communications.
These positions remain available for nominations until 10/26 and will be voted on at the November meeting. You can submit your nominations at the Oktoberfesticuffs meeting or sending an email to officers@alemakers.org. Speaking of, we have three actual, official, real-life steins from THE Oktoberfest in Munich.de as prizes for participants, so register your entry Oktoberfesticuffs – Fellowship of Oklahoma Ale Makers.
Afterwards, the FOAM Cup dates were announced. Registration opens in four, count’em, four days, 10/7. Beer judging commences on 11/12 through 11/18 and we need you! Register your entries here: FOAM Cup – Brew Competition Online Entry & Management, then, sign up to judge or steward. We are also seeking a Prize Coordinator to boost sponsors. Not only will place winners receive a medal but we want to be able to offer other great prizes as well. If you are gifted with gab, a siren with a song, or roll 20’s on persuasion, help us increase the prize pool by contacting brands whose products you know and love.
