FOAM Cup is rapidly approaching, and we need your help to make it successful! Our very own homebrew competition is our largest fundraiser for the club which allows us to do fun things, like the picnic, holiday party, and prizes for all the intra-club competitions.
Here are the things we need help with:
Beer Judges! We always need judges and we have sessions every night starting Sunday the 12th. The more judges we have, the fewer sessions we can review all of the entries so if you have availability the week of November 12-18, please sign up to judge at foamcup.us.
Food! We need someone or sometwo to gather food and food paraphernalia for the major judging sessions Friday evening, Saturday Breakfast, Saturday Lunch, and Saturday Dinner. Things like, picking up the food so that its ready before each session and acquiring plates, cups, and utensils. Friday evening will host a food truck, Saturday breakfast is continental style, lunch will be likely be sandwhiches and chips, and dinner during the ceremony is potluck style with a main course provided. Stewards! We need stewards to prepare the judging stations, track the entries as they’re completed, and are vital to make certain sessions flow quickly and smoothly. If you’re just not into evaluating beers, this is a great way to help and still be involved, and sample only the best beers.
