A quorum of FOAM Officers met Saturday August 8th. In attendance were Cody Cannon, Ryan Friedl, Travis Kirby, Desiree Knot. Members in attendance were Matt Briggs and David Thompson. The entire agenda and notes were posted to the FOAM Facebook Group, the following are some of the highlights:
Officers reviewed the clubs tax status conversion to non-profit charity from non-profit social club to futureproof the earning potential of the club.
Approved budget for brats for October meeting to $150 from $100. Voting for the competition will be one vote per paid member.
Approved budged for Belgian Beer tech talk and snacks for November meeting to $150 from $100.
Modified monthly meeting themes to accommodate Reverse Pro-Am Competition (Marshall Brewing) in January and May theme to Malty from Extract.
Alternating months Taproom Meetup and Brewing Experiments. The first experiment schedule for 4th Thursday in October featuring Jester King yeast cultured by Cody Cannon compared to Bootleg Biology’s culture. If you have an idea for a brewing experiment, let us know!
Officers are organizing group buys for limited FOAM merchandise and standard merchandise to be hosted at an on-demand online store.
