It’s not too late to brew for the Reverse Pro-am!

The Reverse Pro-am club competition is just around the corner with judging at the January meeting. It’s not too late to brew!

The Revers Pro-Am is a where we take a commercial scale beer from a local brewery and downscale it to a 5-10 gallon batch and we have the brewers from that brewery come and judge them. The recipe is the actual one used for brewing there commercial batches and you have to determine the ratios to downscale to a homebrew sized batch.

This year we are going to downscale McNellie’s Pub Ale from Marshall Brewing Company.  You can download the full scale recipe here.

I’m excited because I’m forcing myself to taking the time and brew for this competition. Game on…

Hoppy Brewing!

Cheers,
