March Meeting – Mash Your Luck Spins
Join us for the March FOAM general meeting on March 12th at Hope Unitarian Church.
This month we will be spinning the Mash Your Luck wheel for teams that want to participate in our Mash You Luck Club Competition that will be judged at the July meeting.
This year we are switching things up! Every person/team that wants to participate will be spinning for their own combination. This will give each team it’s own special creation! We encourage FOAMers to form a team with a fellow member to make it more fun, but you can be a one person show if you like. We will also have the wheel at the April meeting for those who want to participate but can’t be at the March meeting.
For those who are new, here’s how it works… We take 5 basic categories of brewing beer and spin to determine what criteria for each category. After spinning for each category, teams have the option of taking a mulligan on one category and re-spin.
The five categories are ABV, IBU, Color, Region, Adjunct
We will also go over the budget during the meeting and will vote to approve at the April meeting.
