The 2019 High Plains competition results are in! Our friends Mike and Stephanie Butler, with the Kansas City Biermeisters, took first place handily with 64 points, edging out Eric Martin, also with KCBM, who finished with 53 points. See the results here. Mike and Stephanie put in a stellar performance at FOAM Cup last year, putting them over the top. They won 4 golds, 4 silvers, 2 bronze and an Honorable Mention, which was enough to snag them the Okie Cup!
For High Plains Homebrew Club of the year, it was (drum roll please), the Kansas City Bier Meisters with 238 points. At a distant second was the Iowa Brewers Union at 131 points. Our very own Fellowship of Oklahoma Alemakers captured third place with 89 points. Thanks to all of our members that entered and medaled in High Plains competitions last year, and let’s do better this year. The bar has been set high!
