It’s time for Iron Brewer 2020!
For those who have never participated, the Iron Brewer competition concept is taken from the Iron Chef television show. The general idea is for teams of homebrewers to test their recipe formulation and brewing skills by brewing a beer from previously-unknown ingredients.
Teams, consisting of at least 2 members, will receive a kit of ingredients that includes base malt(s) or extract, specialty grains, hops in pelletized and/or whole leaf form, and 3 special ingredients. Once teams receive their ingredients, they develop a recipe and brew on-site. At least one special ingredient MUST be used.
Last year we had 8 teams. The special ingredients were maple glazed donuts, bacon bits, and sage.

Event Dates:
Brew Day – Saturday April 18, 2020 at Broken Arrow Brewing Company
Team Registration Deadline is April 16, 2020
Set-up starts at 9:00 a.m.
Brewing starts at 10:00 am
Entries will be judged at the June or July FOAM meeting.

If you already have a team of 2-4 brewers, the Team Captain should be the one registering. Once the team captain registers he/she can login to create the team. Please do not register if you are not the Team Captain.
