Join us at the May meeting for the inaugural Mash Your Luck Club Competition.
This competition takes inspiration from the game show, Press Your Luck, and was created by James Spencer, host of the Basic Brewing Podcast.
To kick off our first spin of the wheel, James will be here to help us!
Here’s how it works… We take 5 basic categories of brewing beer and spin to determine what criteria for each category we should meet for making the Mash Your Luck Beer. After we spin for each category, we have the option of taking a mulligan on one category and re-spin. This will be determined by a show-of-hands vote.
We encourage FOAMers to team up with a fellow FOAMer or two to formulate and brew for our newest club competition, but you can also brew this beer solo. Judging will take place at the July Meeting.

Low: 3.1-5%
Medium: 5.1-7%
High: 7.1-9%
Very High: 9.1+%

Low: 0-25 IBU
