SUMMARY:FOAM Cup Volunteer Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Whelp. We are getting closer and closer to FOAM Cup.\nIt’s time to nail down the jobs and responsibilities of our volunteers.\nWe will finalize the committee chairs\, define the responsibilities for each committee\, go over important dates\, and any other things I can think of before the meeting. \nWe will be meeting at Good Cause Brewing at 6pm\, Nov 5th. \nWe currently have FOAMers assigned as head-steward\, cellar master\, bottle check-in chair\, food chair\, and Banquet chair.\nWe need volunteers to help the Chairs fulfill the duties for each committee. I hope to see you all there and eager to help.

DESCRIPTION:This year’s holiday party will once again be held at Nothing’s Left Brewing Company on December 27th from 6-9pm. \nAs a thank you to the members all in attendance\, including the plus one guest\, will receive a ticket for a beer from Nothing’s Left. \nWe are asking members to bring a dish to share with the club. The jockey box will be on hand for those wanting to bring their homebrew to share. \nThis year we are requiring members to register so we can better estimate how many will be attending. DESCRIPTION:February Meeting – Reverse Pro-Am Club Competition\nFebruary 12th @ 7pm at Hope Unitarian Church \nIt’s our Reverse Pro-am Competition! \nThe Reverse Pro-Am takes a commercial scale beer from a local brewery and FOAMers must downscale it to a 5-10 gallon batch and brewers from that brewery come and judge them at the January meeting. \nThis year’s challenge was to brew Heirloom Rustic Ales Hound’s Share. This beer is in the spirit of an English Mild. Jake Miller\, owner and brewer of Heirloom\, will be at the meeting to judge which beer did the best job matching his beer. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the March FOAM general meeting on March 12th at Hope Unitarian Church.\nThis month we will be spinning the Mash Your Luck wheel for teams that want to participate in our Mash You Luck Club Competition that will be judged at the July meeting. \nThis year we are switching things up! Every person/team that wants to participate will be spinning for their own combination. This will give each team it’s own special creation! We encourage FOAMers to form a team with a fellow member to make it more fun\, but you can be a one person show if you like. We will also have the wheel at the April meeting for those who want to participate but can’t be at the March meeting. \nFor those who are new\, here’s how it works… We take 5 basic categories of brewing beer and spin to determine what criteria for each category.
